Compliance & Training Officer

About Techxi
Techxi is a fast-growing transport business providing passenger transport services across South Wales and nationally. We operate a mixed fleet of company vehicles and approved transport partners, delivering services including education transport, healthcare transport, rail replacement and specialist passenger movements.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Compliance & Training Officer to help ensure our people, vehicles, licences and operations remain fully compliant while supporting a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage driver onboarding and compliance checks.
- Maintain compliance records and monitor renewal deadlines for drivers, vehicles, licences, permits and certifications.
- Ensure driving licences, DBS checks, Right to Work documents, insurance records, safeguarding certifications and training records remain valid and up to date.
- Monitor vehicle compliance requirements including MOTs, servicing, inspections and supporting documentation.
- Deliver inductions and coordinate training programmes for drivers and operational staff.
- Maintain the company training matrix and ensure mandatory training is completed on time.
- Support safeguarding, health & safety and quality initiatives across the business.
- Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance requirements.
- Support the maintenance of our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Produce compliance reports, dashboards and management information.
About You
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Confident working with systems, spreadsheets and compliance records.
- Strong communication and administration skills.
- Experience in compliance, training, quality, health & safety, transport or a regulated environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience within transport, logistics, healthcare, education or regulated services.
- Knowledge of safeguarding requirements.
- Experience of auditing or quality management systems.
- Experience supporting ISO standards.
- IOSH, NEBOSH or Internal Auditor qualifications.
