The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Trainee Fabricator to join our friendly and experienced Fabrication Team in Kidderminster. This is the perfect role if you’re practical, hands-on, and eager to learn a skilled trade with fantastic career progression.
Don’t worry if you’ve never worked with stone before – we’ll teach you everything you need to know. You’ll get full on-the-job training plus specialist external training to help you master your craft.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll get involved in all aspects of turning solid stone into beautiful worktops, including:
- Learning how to fabricate and finish stone worktops (we’ll train you step by step)
- Using specialist hand tools and machinery
- Reading and working from templates and paperwork
- Safely lifting and handling materials (teamwork makes this easy)
- Keeping things running smoothly with daily machine checks and maintenance
- Helping with yard and workshop upkeep – because a tidy space is a happy space
- Carrying out quality checks to make sure every worktop leaves our workshop looking perfect
What We’re Looking For
- A sharp eye for detail – perfection is key in our trade
- A real team player – we all muck in together
- Someone reliable, with good time management skills
- A willingness to listen, learn, and take direction
- Enthusiasm to grow into a skilled trade role
- A forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential
