Luxury Property Viewing Assistant, Edinburgh
Macgregor is a premium independent estate agency specialising in high-quality residential property across central Edinburgh. We are looking for a confident, personable and reliable Viewing Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis.
This role would suit someone who enjoys meeting people, has an interest in property and is looking for flexible part-time work with varying hours from week to week.
The role
You will represent Macgregor when conducting viewings at properties across Edinburgh, providing prospective buyers with a warm, professional and knowledgeable experience.
Hours will vary depending on viewing demand and will typically include a mixture of weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. There are no guaranteed weekly hours, and shifts will be offered according to business requirements and your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct residential property viewings on behalf of Macgregor
- Welcome prospective buyers and provide a professional introduction to each property
- Highlight the key features of the property and answer straightforward questions
- Ensure properties are presented appropriately before and after viewings
- Gather useful feedback from prospective buyers following viewings
- Report viewing feedback and any relevant information clearly to the Macgregor team
- Represent the Macgregor brand to a consistently high standard
- Liaise with the office regarding viewing schedules, access arrangements and keys
About you
We are looking for someone who is:

- Observant and able to pick up useful information from prospective buyers
- Interested in property and the Edinburgh market
- Able to provide a high level of customer service
Previous estate agency or property experience would be helpful but is not essential. Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, sales, professional services or another client-facing role would also be relevant.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a car
- Comfortable travelling between properties across Edinburgh
- Availability for Weekends and evenings
- Smartphone and ability to use WhatsApp, email and basic property systems
Hours
Flexible / casual hours
Hours vary each week depending on the number of viewings taking place. Some weeks may be particularly busy while others may involve relatively few hours.
Viewing appointments are generally agreed in advance, and you will be able to confirm your availability for shifts offered.
Pay
£16 per hour plus holiday pay and agreed mileage expenses
Location
Edinburgh, primarily New Town, West End, Stockbridge, Inverleith, Murrayfield, Morningside and surrounding areas.
