Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain and prepare our Airbnb cottage for guest arrivals. The successful candidate will ensure the property is spotless, welcoming, and meets high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all areas of the Airbnb cottage, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, hallway and porch
- Change bed linens, towels, iron duvet covers and pillowcases
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised, dusted, and free of dirt or debris
- Dispose of rubbish responsibly and replace bin liners
- Restock supplies of toil paper etc
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team promptly
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines during cleaning procedures
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning roles is highly desirable
- Janitorial experience will be considered an advantage
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
