Housekeeper Wanted – Part Time 14 Hours

No previous experience is necessary for this role as full training and support will be provided.

- Ensure record keeping is done when required.
- To respect the Residents privacy and dignity and in respect of each Residents personal possessions
- To clean all allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment.
- To be aware of the Health and Safety statement and of the COSHH statement.
- To clean sanitary and other equipment, with particular attention to guidelines for the control of germs and infestation.
- Store all soiled and clean laundry in line with company policy.
- To maintain efficient and economic usage of all products and consumables used within the home.
- Develop positive relationships with residents, staff and other visitors to the home.
- Seek advice and guidance when necessary.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
- Other care duties as specified by the management.
SHIFTS:
14 Hours per week. Shifts are: Alternate Weekends - Saturday & Sunday (week 2) – 0800 to 1500. Flexibility for start & end times. Opportunity for overtime.
As per the rota. It may be necessary to cover for staff absences by carrying out other duties if required. Housekeepers will need to have a contact number available so they can be contacted out of hours if cover is needed. The hours of work will be as per the job offer letter.

- Ability to adapt to the systems already in place.
- Calm and positive attitude.
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
Requirements:
Must be over 18
This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Salary: £13.50 per hour plus 50p per hour weekend enhancement.
