Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with meal and food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and following recipes accurately
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
- Assist with catering events, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Keep the kitchen clean and organised, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with various kitchen tasks as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles within the kitchen setting
