We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team carrying out insurance repair and reinstatement works on residential and commercial properties.
The Role
You will assist our skilled tradespeople and site teams with a variety of repair and refurbishment works following insured events such as water damage, fire, escape of water and other property damage.
Duties will include:
- Assisting tradespeople with general repair and reinstatement works
- Preparing sites and protecting customers' property
- Removing damaged materials and clearing work areas
- Moving materials, tools and equipment
- Basic preparation, cleaning and making-good works
- Assisting with strip-out and reinstatement projects
- Keeping sites clean, safe and organised
- Following health & safety procedures and company standards
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in construction, property maintenance or general labouring
- Be practical, hardworking and physically fit
- Have a good understanding of basic hand tools
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Have a professional attitude when working in customers' homes and businesses
- Be willing to learn new skills and support different trades
- Hold a full UK driving licence - essential
Experience of insurance repair, property reinstatement, water damage or fire damage works would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
