Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Batching Plant Operator to oversee and manage our Drive Through Concrete Plant. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team and take ownership of the automated batching plant.
Duties
- Operate our advanced batching computer system to produce high-quality, freshly mixed concrete to exact specifications.
- Ensure the correct addition of water and admixtures.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the cleanliness and housekeeping of the plant, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on the plant to ensure reliability and prevent downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with supply chain.
- Maintain accurate batching records and production logs.
- Monitor plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily tasks and optimise workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Batching Plant Operator.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Demonstrable mechanical aptitude with experience carrying out routine plant maintenance.
- A strong sense of ownership and a meticulous approach to plant housekeeping and safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Applicants should demonstrate strong teamwork skills and be prepared to assist with additional tasks as necessary.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining safety standards
