Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Wedding and Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of memorable events at our venue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create extraordinary experiences for clients while showcasing your exceptional hospitality, communication, and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all aspects of wedding and event operations, ensuring seamless delivery from initial consultation to event completion. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us elevate our reputation as an award winning destination.
Salary will be based on experience and a very generous yearly bonus paid on top. we also guarantee 1 weekend off per month and more where possible
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for weddings and special events
- Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and manage client budgets to ensure smooth execution
- Coordinate with suppliers, and internal teams to secure services such as catering, décor, entertainment, and technical support
- Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Manage all logistical aspects of events including setup, breakdown, and on-site supervision to guarantee flawless delivery
- Maintain excellent guest services by addressing client needs promptly and professionally throughout the planning process and during events
- Oversee time management effectively to handle multiple events simultaneously without compromising quality or attention to detail
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel management or event planning with a focus on weddings or large-scale events
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and team members confidently
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services and creating memorable guest experiences
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques can be an asset for special charity or community events
- Experience in guest services within a hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Exceptional time management skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
