We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing Adviser ideally a qualified counsellor to join our team. This role involves supporting individuals in improving their overall health and wellbeing through education, counselling, and personalised guidance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health-related fields and excellent communication skills, with a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles within the community. Responsibilities
- Provide personalised wellbeing advice to clients, focusing on physical, mental, and nutritional health.
- Deliver educational sessions on topics such as nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle management.
- Support clients in setting achievable health goals and develop tailored action plans.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and recommend appropriate interventions or referrals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organisations to facilitate holistic support programmes.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in accordance with data protection regulations.
- Stay informed about current developments in public health, nutrition, and wellness practices to ensure advice remains evidence-based.
- Promote wellbeing initiatives through community outreach and public speaking engagements.
Skills
- Strong background in counselling, public health, teaching, or related health sciences.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in public speaking and delivering educational workshops or seminars.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to health assessments and counselling.
- Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles through nutrition education and behavioural change strategies.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple client cases efficiently.
- Empathetic listener with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing journeys.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: £30,300.00-£35,600.00 per year
