We're a friendly 23-bed residential care home in Exeter, supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and varying support needs to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Our residents range from younger adults through to older people, creating a unique and rewarding environment where no two days are the same. The Role
As a Care Support Worker, you'll support residents with everyday living while encouraging independence, choice, and personal achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks
- Encouraging independence and promoting choice
- Building positive relationships with residents and their families
- Supporting residents to participate in activities and community life
- Promoting dignity, respect, and wellbeing at all times
- Working closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting care planning

About You
To apply, you'll need:
- At least 1 year's experience in a care or support role
- A caring, compassionate, and person-centred approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and reliable attitude
- A genuine passion for helping people live fulfilling lives
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or mental health conditions would be an advantage but is not essential.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is welcomed, although experience and the right values are equally important.
Pay Rates
Unqualified
- Days: £13.40 per hour
- Nights: £14.74 per hour
- Overtime: £15.90 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £20.10 per hour
NVQ Level 2
- Days: £13.75 per hour
- Nights: £15.13 per hour
- Overtime: £16.25 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £20.63 per hour
NVQ Level 3+
- Days: £14.00 per hour
- Nights: £15.40 per hour
- Overtime: £16.50 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour
