We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Cook to join our friendly team. You'll play a vital role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and development of our children by preparing delicious, nutritious, home-cooked meals for children aged 0–5 years.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fresh, healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks each day.
- Plan balanced, varied menus that meet the nutritional needs of children aged 0–5 years.
- Cater for children with allergies, food intolerances, cultural preferences, and special dietary requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of allergens and dietary needs, ensuring meals are prepared safely.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and infection control procedures.
- Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and kitchen budgets.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Food Standards Agency requirements.
- Work closely with the nursery team and communicate with parents where appropriate regarding children's dietary needs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as a cook, ideally within a nursery, school, or childcare setting.
- Good knowledge of children's nutrition and healthy eating for the 0–5 age group.
- Strong understanding of food allergies, intolerances, and specialist diets.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum; Level 3 desirable).
- Knowledge of food safety legislation and allergen management.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A positive, reliable, and caring approach.
