vServices Ltd is seeking for highly competent project manager for our IT software and projects. The candidate shall be accountable to the Head of Programs for all activities and tasks related (to a project) from initial kick-off through to closure. The Project Manager must be a subject matter expert in project management, and should ideally also have experience of industry (Software House).
Education – Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required. Higher Level of Technical Qualification in Telecommunication, Network or Server Arena will be preferred.
Experience – 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
To assure the completion and compliance with approved standard of Production Design Specification (PDS), Engineering Statement of Work (SOW) and other similar Engineering Engagement
To delegate tasks and roles to internal team.
To confirm the Quality Assurance as desired by the customer. He/She shall also be responsible for program Quality Assurance as prescribed by Program Quality manager
To approve an accurate and satisfactory Program Definition (Phase 1 / NPI Process)
To maintain close-working/good communication relationship with Manager
To define and plan the program and secure stake holder approval
To lead the functional managers and support the personnel on Program content, organisation and methodologies
To monitor performance and progress and manage risks and contingency plans.
To issue and track work packages for stakeholders
To work closely with Program Financial Controller for financial controls and report to Programme Steering Team (PST) through Report/Gateway Stage Assessments (NPI Gateways)
To review each completed stage before programme is passed on to next phase. He/She shall also be responsible to manage change, if required in any stage of the programme.
To Review and approve Gateway Stage Plans and mitigation of any exceptions
To prepare required documentation and presentations regarding the process and programme for internal/external committees or stakeholders as required.
To monitor and track payments/cashflows
To deliver the program deliverables and benefits on time
To approve the end Project Phase, Lessons Learned Report and Project closure notification.
To manage the performance of everyone involved
Competencies
A proven track record in project management for complex and challenging I.T. Solution Delivery
Experience in managing multi-faceted and complex programs of work
Experience in dealing with Customers at an Executive level
Capable of delivering excellent results under tight deadlines
Experience of working in an Agile environment
