Pay: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
- Saturday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
About Us
Moorwood Hotel Collection operates a collection of award-winning hospitality venues across Derbyshire, including The White Hart, The Hurt Arms, The Canal Inn and The Horse & Jockey. We are looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Weekend Receptionist to join our team based at The White Hart, Moorwood Moor.
The Role
As the first point of contact for guests and customers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests and managing hotel check-ins and check-outs at The White Hart
- Handling telephone enquiries for all venues within the Moorwood Hotel Collection
- Responding promptly and professionally to email enquiries
- Taking and managing hotel, restaurant and event bookings
- Assisting guests with enquiries before, during and after their stay
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate booking records
- Supporting venue managers with general administration duties
- Ensuring reception and guest areas remain organised and presentable
- Promoting the facilities, events and services available across all venues
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be confident handling telephone and email enquiries
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Have a professional, friendly and welcoming manner
- Be able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Be competent using computers and booking systems
- Have previous experience in hospitality, reception or customer service (preferred but not essential)
