Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change using basic maths skills
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote a safe environment and address any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable
- Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy hours
- Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively atmosphere
