Are you an experienced leader with a passion for supporting people with learning disabilities? The Glades is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our exceptional nursing home in Dinnington.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our 12-bed learning disabilities nursing home, supported by a dedicated team of nurses. You will ensure high standards of care, compliance, and positive outcomes for our residents. You will inspire and develop your team, foster a supportive culture, and drive continuous improvement.
Who Should Apply:
- Registered Nurses (Preferred): Applicants with a valid NMC PIN are highly desirable.
- Non-Nurses: Applications are welcome from candidates without a nursing qualification but with substantial management experience in a learning disabilities nursing home setting. Non-nurse applicants must hold a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards it.
Key Requirements:
- Proven management experience in a learning disabilities nursing home.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care and empowering residents.
- Nurse applicants: Current NMC registration (PIN).
- Non-nurse applicants: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
