We are looking for a passionate and dedicated person to join our front of house team at The Riverside at Aymestrey, bringing fresh ideas and liaising with the kitchen to continue the development, growth and success of the business. Looking for the right candidate to become a core team member in the future of the restaurant.
The Riverside at Aymestrey is an award winning sustainable restaurant, pub and hotel based in rural Herefordshire, with a smallholding, kitchen gardens and orchards. As well as a wellness and wild spa area within our grounds.
The role comprises of the day to day running of each shift, with a hands on approach to service and guests, showing initiative to solve challenges as they arise and be involved in the overall training, development and marketing of the business.
Experience required in bar, pub or restaurant. All candidates considered, attitude and positive work ethic are vital. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with hospitality experience who is ready to take the next step in their career
Responsibilities:
- Involved in daily operations from drinks and food service to taking payments.
- Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
- Coordinate the operation of the restaurant
- Help to recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
- Respond to customer queries and complaints
- Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash.
