Location: Devro Scotland Ltd, Gartferry Road, Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire, G69 0JE
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 2:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Chef Supervisor to join our team at Devro Scotland Ltd in Moodiesburn. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate food professional to support the delivery of high-quality catering services while leading and motivating a small team.
As Chef Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard while maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
What You'll Do

Support the delivery of a high-quality food service for colleagues and customers

Supervise and support kitchen team members during daily operations

Assist with menu planning and development

Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Monitor stock levels and support ordering processes

Assist with financial controls and cost management

Maintain excellent customer service standards

Support training and development of team members
What You Bring

Professional cooking qualification (essential)

Food Hygiene qualification (essential)

Previous chef management or supervisory experience preferred

Strong team leadership and communication skills

Financial awareness and understanding of kitchen cost controls

Basic computing skills

Experience of menu development

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
