Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients

- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored appropriately
- Support the serving team during meal service to ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Organise ingredients and supplies to optimise workflow efficiency
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to create a safe working environment
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
