Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at our brand-new breakfast and brunch café opening on Oxford Road, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new opening from day one. Full training will be provided, so we're looking for someone with a great attitude, who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly. Our kitchen is built around teamwork, consistency and a positive working environment where everyone supports each other.
Working Hours
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Daytime shifts only,
8:00am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment Keep the kitchen, storage areas and wash-up section clean and organised Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required Receive and put away deliveries Empty bins and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the day Support the kitchen team during busy breakfast and lunch service Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
Requirements
Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential Positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual and hardworking Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Good teamwork and communication skills Understanding of basic food hygiene is an advantage
