Apprentice Business Support Officer (Level 3)
The Mast Academy Trust – Small Schools
The Mast Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as an Apprentice Business Support Officer, starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in administration within education, gaining valuable experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship qualification.
You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of our schools, ensuring effective and efficient administrative and business support across multiple sites
In this role you will:
Provide front-of-house reception support and respond to enquiries from parents, staff and visitors
Carry out a range of administrative duties including producing documents, maintaining records and supporting school systems
Assist with the organisation of school activities and events
Support data management, filing systems and resource coordination
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, and you will be fully supported to develop your skills and experience.
We are looking for someone who:
Is organised, reliable and able to manage a varied workload
Has good communication and customer service skills
Is confident using IT systems (or willing to learn)
Can work flexibly across multiple sites
Is able to handle confidential information with discretion
Is committed to safeguarding and supporting a safe school environment
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to travel between sites.
