We're looking for a Social Value Coordinator to join our Construction team based in flexible agile locations.
Location: Flexible agile working
Hours: 32 hours per week - 8 Months Fixed Term Contract

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the communities where we work. As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in planning, delivering and reporting on initiatives that create positive social impact across our construction projects. Working on an 8-month fixed term contract, you'll collaborate with teams at every stage - from pre-construction through to project completion - ensuring our social value commitments translate into meaningful outcomes for local communities.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering targeted social value activities across multiple projects. Your day to day will include:
- Creating and implementing social value plans with pre-construction and site teams, working closely with suppliers and clients to meet expectations
- Tracking progress against social value metrics and supporting teams to achieve targets through robust data collection and initiative delivery
- Organising and delivering social value initiatives including skills and employment programmes, community engagement, education outreach and volunteering activities
- Building relationships with local contacts and stakeholders to support our social value strategy and enhance awareness across the region
- Contributing to bid responses and promoting social value activities to raise the profile of our sustainability commitments
What are we looking for?
This role of Social Value Coordinator is great for you if:
- You have a genuine passion for delivering positive outcomes for communities and can communicate this effectively to engage teams at all levels
- You bring experience from construction, social value, the charity sector, education or a similar community-focused role
- You're confident with data analysis, reporting and have strong skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel
- You're a natural relationship builder who can work collaboratively with cross-discipline teams, clients and external organisations
- You have the ability to travel to sites and external events, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and keen attention to detail
