WB Employment Ltd operating as an employment business. We are looking for a Postal worker/ Drivers out of a local delivery office based in Bala.
To apply for the position, you will need to have a full driver’s license with no more than 6 points and some delivery driving experience. You will be required to make deliveries and collections to commercial business and the general public.
This role requires you to walk about 4 to 6 miles a day. Driving will also be required to delivery larger parcels.
Details:
Current full UK licence with maximum of 6 points
Previous experience in driving.
Able to check in vehicles with a high level of care
Work within health and safety procedures in a busy workshop environment
Deliver goods vehicles locally and occasionally nationally, using the level of care appropriate to high value products.
Work under pressure to meet timescales when required
Work on their own without supervision when required
Movement of vehicles within site.
Preparation of vehicles for delivery
The following documents MUST be supplied for vetting purposes for this position:
- Passport or Birth certificate
- Share code (if necessary)
- Driving license – MUST be in current address with your FULL name
- Proof of National Insurance number (P45/P60/payslip/HMRC NI letter/DWP letter)
- DBS check must be completed too
Pay - £13.69 P/H
Shift times: 6 hour shifts between the hours of 09:00-16:00 (30 hours - five 6 hour shifts a week between Monday and Sunday and the hours of 8am-4pm)
Shift pattern - five 6 hour shifts between Monday-Sunday, MUST be flexible to work weekends
Start date: ASAP once completion of registration forms
Contract type - Temporary with a chance of it being ongoing & permanent.
