Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping to join our team at Bosworth Leisure, Beddgelert. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This position plays a vital part in supporting our mission to provide outstanding hospitality in a beautiful setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Carry out twice weekly linen counts
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver excellent service.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs.
- Monitor health and safety compliance within the housekeeping department.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing time effectively.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive team environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
- Preferred: janitorial experience or related background.
- Ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
