Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
- Read and interpret drawings and welding process specifications
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Perform basic maths calculations to measure materials and determine dimensions
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work alongside other departments within the business ensuring smooth delivery of fabricated items within agreed timescales
Experience:
- Previous experience as a fabricator/welder in structural steel essential
Overtime rate paid- Time and a half for 5 hours per week after 39 hours
