We have a fantastic new opportunity for a talented individual to join our team in Enfield as a Stock & Systems Manager. As a Stock & Systems manager you will manage the movements of stock in and out of the warehouse and subsequent systems. You will collaborate with the warehouse team and your admin team and act as the first point of contact for the customer, investigating issues and providing feedback on behalf of the Operational Managers. As an analytical and proactive individual, you'll possess a strong drive to implement better, more efficient processes. You’ll be a highly organised individual who can communicate across all levels of the business to ensure business critical messages are delivered accurately.

Role details:
Salary: Up to Up to £43,155 + £2,000 London Weighting per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday (A level of flexibility is expected to ensure effective operational coverage)
Location: Gist Limited, Enfield, EN3 7QP
What you’ll do:
- Champion the safety agenda daily
- Promote safe operating and warehouse standards
- Manage and conduct hygiene audits
- Maintaining a safe and friendly working environment for all employees, agency and subcontractors.
- Ensuring effective communication within the warehouse teams through meetings and briefings
- Build an engaged admin team
- Drive continuous improvement processes
- Forward planning of stock inventory
- Minimise stock adjustments through process improvement and colleague engagement
- Supporting the AGM with contract management at your site, which includes; Waste, Hygiene, security and catering day to day
- All customer communication and liaison for your site – supporting Operational Managers
- Understanding the customers organisational tree – identify and build the key relationships with the customer to establish and build the information from them
- Understand how all things stock impact on retail
- Ensure all requirements relating to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented in the warehouse or escalate
Who you are:
- Thorough knowledge and hands on experience of a warehouse function within the FMCG Distribution Industry
- A background operating at a management level is a must
- Strong experience working with audits, compliance & business assurance
- Previous experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- You'll come in to contact with Trade Unions (previous experience with this would be beneficial)
