Duties
- Providing outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and understanding their styling needs
- Performing hair styling and barbering services in accordance with client preferences and industry standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment
- Consulting with clients to recommend suitable styles and treatments based on their hair type and personal preferences
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to during all procedures
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and operational flow
- Communicating clearly with clients about services offered, aftercare advice, and product recommendations
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service within the barbering industry is preferred
- Skills in hair styling and barbering
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail to ensure high standards of service are maintained
