We believe strongly that music has a powerful impact on health and well being. We are looking for someone with a Primary class music or Secondary class music background to take on and cover some teaching in local schools and take on new classes at Brick Lane Music Academy Key Requirements
Essential
- Experience teaching Kodály-based music sessions to groups of children.
- Experience working with primary-aged children, including children with Additional Support Needs (ASN).
- Ability to teach piano to small groups of children.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and available to cover sessions, sometimes at short notice.
- Genuine interest in community music and the academy's mission.
Desirable
- Experience delivering music workshops in:
- Care homes
- Community groups
- Other community settings
