About Us
We are a leading vehicle preparation company providing professional valeting services to customers across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Coordinator & Recruitment Manager to support our operational teams and ensure the effective deployment of subcontractors across our customer sites.
The Role
This is a varied and fast-paced position combining workforce logistics, recruitment, customer liaison, and operational support. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of Area Support Operatives (ASOs) to cover absences and customer requirements, while also overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new subcontractors.
To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience within the vehicle valeting industry and a thorough understanding of the entire valeting process. This knowledge is essential to effectively recruit, support, and deploy personnel whilst maintaining the high standards expected by our customers.
Occasional travel to customer sites throughout Lancashire and Greater Manchester will be required, however a company vehicle will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Operations
- Coordinate the deployment of Area Support Operatives (ASOs) to cover absences and customer requirements.
- Manage customer requests for operational ADHOC support.
- Liaise with customers & Team Leaders to ensure service levels are maintained.
- Respond quickly and effectively to staffing challenges.
Recruitment & Resourcing
- Source candidates through networking, referrals, social media, and recruitment platforms.
- Create and manage job advertisements.
- Interview prospective candidates and assess suitability for valeting roles.
- Arrange site trials with Team Leaders.
- Conduct character reference checks.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of quality candidates to support operational requirements.
Administration
- Provide general administrative support to the Head Office team.
- Maintain accurate recruitment, staffing, and operational records.
- Keep company systems up-to-date and record all changes to assist the admin team with billing.
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience within the vehicle valeting industry with a comprehensive understanding of the full valeting process.
- Previous experience in recruitment, staff coordination, workforce planning, or operations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good administrative and IT skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
