Directorate
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Information Governance and Compliance Officer to join the Legal, Governance and Sustainability Directorate.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the University's compliance obligations across information governance, data protection, freedom of information, records management, internal audit and policy management. Working closely with colleagues across the University, you will provide practical advice and support, helping to ensure that statutory obligations are met and that effective governance arrangements are embedded throughout the institution.
What you will be doing:

You will take ownership of information requests

Coordinate audit activity
-
Support policy development and review
-
Maintain compliance records
-
contribute to the continuous improvement of the University's governance and assurance framework.
Qualifications/ experience:

Excellent analytical and communication skills

strong attention to detail and the confidence to provide constructive challenge and advice to colleagues at all levels.
