Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Male or Female Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to an individual in need, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being in their own homes. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, particularly focusing on individuals with specific needs such as Personal care, Physical needs & has a learning disability with global developmental delay and epilepsy.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents within a Domiciliary setting with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene, escorting to community based activities.
- Update all day to day documentation on the on-line system
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, ensuring a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of residents progress and any changes in condition.
- Escort resident to social activities as required.
- Utilise medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare providers.
Exprience
- Previous experience in care home or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and care plans is advantageous.
- Experience in care with complex needs is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Time keeping is very important for this role.
Desirable
Hindi, Gujrati, English, Panjabi, Urdu speaking staff is desirable.
