Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and take on regular cleaning at CT20 Folkstone - around Morggridge close area starting before the end of July. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a tidy and organised space with keen attention to details.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, restrooms, and communal areas
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained properly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning requirements or issues
- Drive company vehicles if required to travel between sites or locations
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between sites
- Good command of English to understand instructions and communicate effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact politely with clients and visitors
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Keen attention to details when cleaning assigned space
