Barista
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing drinks, serving customers, handling payments, and helping to create a welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including coffee and tea
- Prepare and serve food items, including heating and cooking products using commercial ovens
- Provide excellent customer service
- Operate the till and handle cash/card payments
- Keep the café, counter, kitchen area, and equipment clean and tidy
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Replenish stock and supplies as needed
- Work efficiently during busy periods
Requirements:
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Previous barista or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
- Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certification is desirable
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively
Working Hours:
- Approximately 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
- Job share applications welcome
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
