We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager on a 6-month contract, based at our Head Office and largest operational depot in Andover.
This is a visible, hands-on role supporting quality, health, safety and environmental standards across our growing UK operations.
You will work closely with operational and HVAC engineering teams to drive compliance, strengthen safety culture and deliver continuous improvement in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will:

Conduct a comprehensive QHSE gap analysis across the business and produce clear recommendations and an action plan

Support and deliver the QHSE strategy across all UK sites

Promote a proactive safety culture focused on engagement, near-miss reporting and continuous improvement

Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions

Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001)

Monitor compliance, risk and performance metrics and report clearly to leadership

Partner with depot and operational teams to embed consistent standards and behaviours

Support QHSE training delivery and help identify competence gaps
About you
Essential:
-
Proven experience as a QHSE / HSE / Compliance Manager

Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
-
NEBOSH Certificate (Diploma desirable) or equivalent

Solid experience of risk management, auditing and incident investigation

Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels

Background in operational, engineering, construction or industrial environments
Desirable:
-
Experience in HVAC, mechanical services, hire/rental or multi-site field operations
-
Knowledge of F-Gas, Gas Safe or related regulations
The engagement
Competitive day rate. 6-month contract. Based in Andover with multi-site responsibilities. We are open to fewer days per week for the right candidate (for example an initial focused gap analysis and action planning phase).
