We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Personal Assistant/Carer to provide dedicated support to individuals in their daily lives. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support with medication management and adherence to care plans designed by healthcare professionals
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and social activities using your driving skills
- Help with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping
- Maintain clear communication with clients about their needs and preferences to ensure personalized care
- Monitor health status and report any concerns or changes to relevant healthcare providers
- Use IT tools to update care records, document activities, and communicate effectively with team members
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record and experience in safe vehicle operation
- Prior experience working in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compassion
