TITLE: Temporary Warehouse Operative
REPORTING TO: Operations Manager
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: General Warehouse Duties
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The warehouse operative will be located at the Swindon warehouse and will work as a team reporting to the Operations Manager. 3 month paternity cover.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving goods in, putting away stock into palletised racking using bar code scanning system.
- Booking into stock via computerised stock system using bar code scanners.
- Daily picking of sales orders.
- Daily despatch and invoicing of goods using computerised stock system.
- Weekly perpetual stock taking of warehouse.
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean and tidy and safe place to work.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy car park area, including outside windows
- Basic maintenance duties when required.
- Provide cover to cleanroom re-pack when required.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £14.05 per hour
