Responsibilities
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and plan repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan of vehicles
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or assemble machinery components efficiently.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs or installations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems quickly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- ensuring all parts fit and function correctly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Skills
- Strong understanding of all makes and models of vehicles, including reading technical manuals.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes. desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.
