The Management Accountant, reporting into the Finance Manager, will be responsible for general month end, as well as some FP&A support as the business grows. This opportunity will suit an ambitious fully qualified or part-qualified accountant, who has extensive end-to-end month end experience and wants to support the business on their impressive growth trajectory. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and take a positive, proactive approach to the work at hand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and monthly commentary
- Preparing event specific P&L reports
- Preparing monthly stock reporting and valuation
- Assisting with the preparation of year end and audit file
- Preparing the VAT and IOSS reporting
- Preparing the tax analysis
- Assisting with the budgeting and reforecasting process
- Preparing the Bank Pack submission
- Supporting the Head of Finance and assisting with any other adhoc queries or tasks

Skills/Experience required
- Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of month-end processes and management accounting
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Knowledge of VAT reporting and financial compliance requirements
- Experience with stock reporting and valuation
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems
- Experience supporting audits and year-end processes
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working within a retail, fashion, ecommerce, or consumer brand environment advantageous
- Ability to support FP&A activities and commercial decision-making

Pay: Up to £48,000.00 per year
