As SEO Manager you will be managing clients alongside the Head of SEO. Click Intelligence is growing rapidly, therefore this position is fast-paced and very hands-on. Click Intelligence is looking for a candidate that has experience in working in a fast-paced agency environment and works well under pressure. Either has experience or happy to work in specialist industry sectors such as iGaming and adult industries.
Responsibilities will include:
· Improving and developing our SEO processes
· Client and competitor SEO analysis
· Conducting keyword research and technical analysis on websites including SEO audits
· Liaising with potential and existing clients via phone, teams and or email.
· Manage multiple SEO campaigns simultaneously
· Prioritise work across numerous client accounts
· Ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed budgets
· Coordinate with developers, content writers and outreach teams
· Utilise ethical link-building techniques and cultivate relationships with external bloggers and PR professionals.
· Proficiency in website development and coding best practices
· Planning SEO campaigns including SEO strategy, keyword research, link building and reporting
· Develop strategies for Google AI Overviews and AI-powered search experiences
· Optimise client websites for LLM visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity
· Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility across emerging AI search platforms
· Assist with onboarding and training new team members
· Contribute towards improving internal documentation and best practices
· Monthly strategic reporting
· Account management
· Support the sales team with technical SEO input during pitches
Qualifications & Experience
· Strong Technical SEO knowledge with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
· Strong analytical knowledge and experience
· Has experience in using AI models to help streamline workflow
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and/or other well-known CMS systems
· Experience working with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, PageSpeed Insights, Google Tag Manager (desirable)
· Proven ability to deliver SEO workflow and results
· Experience working on websites across a diverse range of industries
· Demonstrable experience in international SEO
· Develop topical authority strategies
· Produce keyword clusters and content briefs
· Optimise existing content for improved performance
Requirements:
· Proficient in English
· Minimum 5 years SEO experience, with at least 3 years within an agency environment.
· Knowledge and experience in website coding
· Proven success in implementing effective SEO and AI techniques and achieving high search result placements
· Technical SEO background with expertise in HTML, website coding, crawl analysis, indexation management, JavaScript SEO, core web vitals, schema markup, internal linking optimisation, XML sitemap management, robots.txt
· canonicalisation, Hreflang
· In-depth knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console
· Experience with SEO plugins for CMS platforms such as WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc.
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong organizational and planning abilities
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Ambitious and dedicated to advancing both personal and company goals
· Experience in account management
· Previous experience working in an agency setting
