Are you an energetic, organised leader who loves working with children? We are looking for three Senior Activity Leader's to deliver a high-quality, fun, and safe sports and activities program for children aged 5 to 12 in our fantastic Holiday Club based at either our:
- Prep School in Eastbourne,
- Senior School in Upper Dicker,
- Burgess Hill Girls School.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Activity Leaders, set up daily activity rotations, and keep team morale high.
Session Oversight: Run and oversee structured, engaging sports and activity sessions where every child feels inspired and included.
Safety & Safeguarding: Enforce strict health, safety, and safeguarding policies. Review risk assessments and ensure student welfare is always monitored and logged.
Registers & Admin: Oversee daily registers (drop-off, activities, lunch, pick-up). Manage the club mobile phone and handle digital admin.
Parent Relations: Lead drop-off/pick-up routines to build rapport with parents, providing positive updates or addressing behavior/welfare concerns professionally.
Excursions: Lead off-site trips safely, strictly maintaining staff-to-child ratios and first aid protocols.
Logistics: Manage the daily set-up, pack-down, and equipment stock of the site.
Incident management - the ability to problem solve and adapt to bring about resolution whilst being calm under pressure.
Experience leading teams and running activities for children aged 5–12.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child welfare, and risk assessments.
Excellent communication skills for managing staff and building rapport with parents.
Highly organised, energetic, and adaptable.
We will be offering a casual contract, with working hours varying between 08:00 - 17:00, to take place during the following school holiday periods throughout the year:
1 week in February
3 weeks in Easter
1 week in May
9 weeks in Summer
2 weeks in October
1 week in December
These positions will commence in October 2026, offering an hourly rate of £14.00 per hour plus holiday pay along with a range of staff benefits including:
