Before You Apply
This isn't a typical 9:00am to 6:00pm office role. Our conference venue hosts live events throughout the week, with activity often running from 7:00am to 10:00pm. As a result, shifts are scheduled around our event programme and may include early starts, later finishes and, occasionally, weekends.
During quieter periods, you'll work more regular office hours, but flexibility is an important part of the role. If you enjoy variety, being hands-on and seeing events come to life, you'll love working here. No two days are ever the same.
About the Role
The Venue Operations Assistant plays a key role in delivering exceptional events from initial preparation through to post-event reset.
Working within the Operations department, you'll work closely with the Events, AV and Facilities teams to prepare the venue, support clients during live events and ensure every space is presented to the highest standard. One day you may be setting up conference rooms, the next supporting a live event or preparing the venue for the following day's programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in venue operations or event management while gaining practical, hands-on experience in a fast-paced conference venue.
