Job overview:
We have a rare opportunity to join AXA as Personal Assistant supporting the CIO, an Executive Committee member and the team. You’ll use your excellent communication skills and adaptability to provide significant decision making, project and administrative support, across a wide range of business issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage, escalate and delegate business issues within the organisation chain with clear instructions and deadlines
- Management of senior leaders and or executive diaries ensuring focus on agreed priorities and supporting efficient time management to enable prioritisation and focus on value adding and strategic activity
- Processing and submitting invoices for payment, ensuring expenses are within budget, and maintaining accurate records
- Build effective partnership relationships with other personal assistants and teams across the business
- Ensure written and verbal communications are designed to deliver results
- Organise business travel, managing general travel expenses, event management and office sundries
- Establish efficient reporting channels to monitor progress of business issues
Manage correspondence on behalf of Directors e.g. Emails, post, telephone in a timely manner, prioritising and cascading/escalating as appropriate within own function or wider

Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills and experience:
- Prior experience of similar roles or experience operating at Senior PA level
- Highly developed prioritisation and organisation skills
- Expert knowledge of admin software e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and other appropriate in-house systems
- Professional manner with high level of confidentiality
- Strong influencing skills
- Proficient networking skills
- Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced commercial environment
