Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials and additional items to enhance their experience.
- Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and set appropriately before and after service.
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure compliance during all service activities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues swiftly.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities.
- Culinary or hospitality qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
