Job Overview

Duties
- Support the Head Chef in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating daily food preparation activities
- Assist in managing food production processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes
- Lead by example in food preparation and cooking, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen operations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste and control costs
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence
- Participate actively in serving guests when needed, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
- Supervising experience with demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within hospitality settings
- Solid restaurant experience with familiarity in managing kitchen operations under pressure
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills for managing inventory, schedules, and workflow efficiently
