We are seeking an experienced Stockperson in Game Rearing to join our established Norfolk farm on a full-time (or part-time for the right person) basis.
This is a hands-on stock role within a busy game rearing and mixed farming business. You must have previous experience in gamebird rearing or a similar intensive livestock environment.
The role includes:
- Day-to-day management of a game rearing field
- Feeding, checking and welfare monitoring of gamebirds
- Setting up, packing down, catching up and bitting
- General repairs and upkeep of rearing units
- Fencing, hedging and general farm maintenance
- Tractor driving and field work
- Assisting with a small beef herd (feeding and daily checks)
About you:
- Proven experience in game rearing or livestock stockmanship
- Practical, reliable and able to work on your own initiative
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of animal welfare
- Competent with general farm work and machinery (or willing to learn)
- Clean UK driving licence essential
