We are looking for HGV1 Drivers for our client based in Slough. These are Trunking, Drop and Swap positions. You must be willing to undergo a driving assessment and are paid for this if you pass. Payment included in your first wage.
Tramper drivers also required
Various start times throughout the day and evening.
12 Hour Shifts, 11 hours paid as 1 hr Lunch
£21 PH Weekdays
£23 PH Weekends.
MUST HAVE HELD LICENCE FOR 2 YEARS AND AT LEAST 180 DAYS EXPIERENCE IN THE LAST YEAR
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Qualifications
- HGV1 Licence
- In date CPC
- No more than 6 points on your licence
