We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided for motivated applicants. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly to guests
- Provide excellent guest service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar, and surrounding spaces
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Manage guest enquiries courteously and professionally, creating a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
