Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Cleaner specialising in short let properties to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in various short-term rental properties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring guest satisfaction through impeccable cleaning and hygiene standards. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is a must, and the position is paid accordingly.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all areas of short let properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished to meet company standards. Streaks on surfaces are unacceptable.
- Restock essential supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the management team promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow.
- Complete all cleaning tasks within designated timeframes to ensure timely turnover of properties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple properties efficiently.
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on schedule.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and manoeuvring cleaning equipment.
- Flexibility to work during weekdays, with an emphasis on maintaining consistent service quality across multiple short let properties. If you can work on weekends as well as weekdays that is a major bonus!
- A positive attitude and professional demeanour when interacting with property owners and guests.
Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
