Finch Home Limited is a bespoke furniture manufacturer based in East London. We design and produce high-quality, made-to-order furniture with a strong focus on craftsmanship, detail, and finish. As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Furniture Finisher & Sprayer to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with experience in furniture finishing and a good all-round understanding of workshop processes. You will be involved in preparing and finishing bespoke pieces to a high standard, working closely with our makers to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Sanding, filling, and preparing timber and MDF surfaces for finishing
- Spraying (primers, lacquers, paints) to a high-quality standard
- Hand painting and fine finishing work
- Oiling, staining, and sealing bespoke furniture pieces
- Assisting with light cabinet making and assembly where required
- Ensuring all finishes meet our quality standards and client expectations
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team
Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture finishing and spraying
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Experience with spray equipment and finishing products
- Knowledge of different finishing techniques (paint, oil, lacquer, etc.)
- Basic cabinet making or workshop experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and reliability
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working on bespoke or high-end furniture
- Familiarity with workshop machinery and tools
