HGV Technician
Southampton, Hampshire | £50,000 – £60,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to join a growing and well-established commercial vehicle operation in Southampton.
With a range of shift patterns available, including days, early starts, late finishes and rotating shifts, this is an excellent opportunity for a Technician looking for flexibility without compromising on earning potential or long-term career prospects.
You'll be working in a professional workshop environment with a varied workload, modern equipment and ongoing training and development.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections and compliance checks
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Completing repairs efficiently and safely
- Helping to minimise vehicle downtime
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
- Previous experience working in a commercial vehicle or HGV workshop
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A reliable and professional approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
